PYEONGCHANG, South Korea — It started in a lift line around nine years ago, with an 8-year-old Chloe Kim tugging on Kelly Clark’s jacket. She wondered if she could ride the lift up with the Olympic gold medalist.
On Tuesday, it was Kim who had a gold medal. And with that honor came the opportunity to thank Clark for all she’s done since that little girl was happy to meet her Olympic hero.
