Day 3 of Colin Kaepernick’s 10-day donation initiative featured another high-profile NBA star supporting the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback.

Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry donated $10,000 on Friday as part of Kaepernick’s fundraising drive. Kaepernick is donating $10,000 a day to a non-profit organization, and celebrities are matching Kaepernick’s daily donation. 

Curry chose the San Francisco-based organization United Playaz, which works to prevent youth from entering or re-entering the justice system.

Kaepernick posted a Twitter video Friday morning that featured Curry. 

“I think it’s amazingly important and powerful what Colin Kaepernick is doing — putting his money where his mouth is,” Curry said on the video, “and actually reaching out to the community with the resources we have, to better the lives of (those in) the community.”
