It turns out Lady Gaga flew on wires for a second time when she opened her Super Bowl 51 halftime show.
The first time was in a town called Springfield:
Quite a few folks pointed out that a 2012 episode of The Simpsons (entitled Lisa Goes Gaga) guest-starring Gaga showed the megastar flying in on cables in a costume that looked vaguely like the one she sported in Houston:
It’s a slight stretch given that Gaga’s outfit didn’t shoot pyrotechnics out of it, but a cool little coincidence nonetheless.
This is also not the first time something like this has happened: The series also predicted Donald Trump would be president, a Broncos-Seahawks Super Bowl and a Germany-Brazil World Cup final.
