LOS ANGELES – It was almost as if Patrick Beverly was tired of Andre Drummond.
With the Detroit Pistons seconds away from a confidence-building victory, Drummond put an exclamation point on his dominant performance Saturday night by knocking away a half-hearted pass from the Los Angeles Clippers point guard, leading to a steal.
On a night when he shared the floor with one of the top players in the NBA, Drummond put forward a compelling case as the best player on the Staples Center court with 15 points, 17 rebounds, three blocked shots and two steals.
