Bills QB Taylor returns to practice; not yet cleared to play

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) — Bills quarterback Tyrod Taylor returned to practice Monday in taking the next step in recovering from a concussion, though he’s not yet been cleared for Buffalo’s season opener against the New York Jets on Sunday.

The team said Taylor’s participation is part of the concussion protocol evaluation process after the quarterback took the field for the first time since being hurt in a 13-9 preseason loss at Baltimore on Aug. 26.
